MANUAL MIXING / SOFTENING

Some CLEOPATRA Sugar Pastes, especially softer ones like SOFT – EPIL or INTIMATE – EPIL, don’t require manual softening. However, firmer pastes may need this step, particularly during colder winter months.

 Testing the Sugar Paste

Before starting the manual softening process, test the sugar paste by applying a small amount to your skin. If it adheres smoothly, the paste is ready for use, and you can skip manual softening. If the paste feels too firm or doesn’t apply well, proceed with the following steps.

After removing the firmer sugar paste from the jar, begin softening as follows:

#1

Hold the paste with the thumb and forefinger of one hand.

#2

Use the thumb of your other hand to push and stretch the paste.

#3

Fold the paste back to its original position and repeat the process.

...

Alternatively, you can use only your thumbs, collecting and pressing the paste from different sides.

As the paste becomes softer and stickier, test it again on your skin. If the paste is not adhering to the hairs or feels uncomfortable to apply, continue with manual softening.

If needed, add a drop or two of water to speed up the process.

Note: When using water, add no more than 1–2 drops at a time. It’s better to add small amounts gradually than risk over-softening, which can make the paste unusable.
