HOW TO USE SUGAR PASTE?
INSTRUCTIONS /
APPLICATION MISTAKES

#1

Why is it important to understand sugar paste textures and consistency?

To use sugar paste effectively, it’s important to understand how its texture changes. Depending on room temperature and seasonal variations, sugar paste can become either firmer or softer. In colder conditions, it tends to harden, while in warmer environments, it softens. Understanding these changes will help you choose the sugar paste that best meets your needs.

#2

The paste melts too quickly,
what should I do?

You can prevent the paste from melting by following these steps:
a. Turn on the AC: If the room is too hot or humid, it can cause the sugar paste to melt. Using air conditioning to keep the room cool can help maintain the paste’s texture.

b. Use gloves or a spatula: Warm, sweaty hands can break down the paste, causing it to melt. Using nitrile gloves or a spatula will prevent direct contact with sweaty hands, helping to preserve the paste’s consistency.

c. Use firmer pastes: Instead of medium soft or soft textures, opt for firmer pastes. These can absorb more moisture and remainnflexible for a longer period of time, reducing the likelihood of melting.

I can’t remove the paste from my body, what should I do?

If the paste has melted on your skin, you can try the following methods:
a.  Use a hair removal strip: Place a hair removal strip over the melted paste, rub it firmly, and remove it in the direction of hair growth.

b. Use a towel: If you don’t have a disposable strip, a towel can also work. To clean the towel afterward, simply rinse it under hot water
to dissolve the sugar paste.

c. Take a shower: You can directly apply water to the sugar paste, and it will melt away easily.

For options a. and b., keep in mind that it’s easier to remove the paste when it’s not applied too thickly. Try to remove any excess paste first, and then use the suggested methods.

What not to do:
Avoid aggressively pulling or chopping the paste off with your hands, as this can cause unnecessary bruising.
